More than 7,000 local Himalayan farmers produce hard cheese made from the milk of yak and local zebu cows that graze freely at over 4,500 meters above sea level. These animals eat unpolluted grass and drink pure mineral water. Following a precise process under strict quality control measures , we obtain a unique and exclusive 100% natural, easy-to-digest chewable snack without additives, chemicals or preservatives.

To produce our Churpi, yak milk is boiled under continuous stirring. Lime juice is added to help separate the whey while acting as a natural preservative. After the milk has fermented, the resulting curd is wrapped in jute cloth and pressed to extract all remaining water. It is then sun-dried and smoked for 28 days at the perfect temperature, turning the milk curd into an extremely hard, protein-rich smoked cheese.
